Pastor’s Message
To our beloved Bridge City family and all the partners walking alongside us,
Thank you always for your warm prayers and support.
This summer, our hearts have been heavy as various natural disasters occurred both in our local regions and around the world. We are praying from the bottom of our hearts for those affected and going through hardship.
In times surrounded by anxiety and trials, we are reminded to fix our eyes on God’s unchanging promises and love.
“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.”
—— Psalm 46:1
No matter the situation, God is right there with us, giving us peace and hope. Let us walk through this season together, supporting one another and demonstrating His love. May God’s abundant protection and comfort be with you in your daily lives.
☀️ Summer Highlights & Latest News
🔴 June: Visit from the King’s Way High School Team!
In June, a wonderful team of 2 staff members and 12 students from King’s Way School in the U.S. visited Bridge City Church!
They led VBS (Vacation Bible School) for the children and English Cafe for middle schoolers, high schoolers, and youth. Both events were a huge success, filled with many smiles, and served as a precious opportunity to share the Gospel (the good news of Jesus).
🔵 July: Welcome Sunday & Blessing Our New Members!
In July, we held Welcome Sunday!
We celebrated and blessed 6 new members who completed the “Next Steps Course” and officially joined the Bridge City Church family. We thank God for adding new family members and enriching our community even more. A big welcome to each of you!
🟡 August: Ordination of Our New Elder!
August was a memorable time of thanksgiving and a major milestone for our church.
Mr. Kingsley Obi was newly ordained as an Elder of BridgeCity Church, and as a whole church family, we joined our hearts in prayer for him and his family. We praise God and trust that He will abundantly lead our church and community through Kingsley’s hands and ministry.
🎆 August 30 (Sun): Kids Summer Festival!
On Sunday, August 30, we held our Kids Summer Festival!
The children had an amazing time and shared how much fun they had! We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Kids Leader, Liz, and the entire Kids Team members who faithfully prepared and hosted this wonderful event for our children!

We have officially launched “BridgeCity Community” on Instagram!
We share updates not only about Sunday services, but also about casual community events held on weekdays and weekends. Make sure to follow us to stay updated and join in!

🇺🇸 October 18 (Sun) – 25 (Sun): Storm Team Visit!
A short-term mission team called the STORM Team will be visiting us from our oversight church, Mannahouse Church (Portland, Oregon)! They will be leading our worship services during this special, grace-filled week, so please mark your calendars!
