2026年5月発行 Vol.１

この度、年に４回ほどのペースでニュースレターを発行していくことになりました。ここにはブリッジシティチャーチの活動報告や今後の予定、会計報告などを載せていく予定です。

We are pleased to announce that we will be publishing a newsletter approximately four times a year. This newsletter will include reports on BridgeCity Church’s activities, up-coming events, and financial statements.

牧師からのメッセージ Message from the pastor

おかげさまで、ブリッジシティチャーチは先月４月に８周年を迎えることができました。皆さまのご支援に心より感謝申し上げます。現在、私たちの教会には日本人だけでなく、さまざまな国籍や文化的背景を持つ人々が集っています。子どもたちもたくさんいて、活気にあふれています。つい先週は、約１年ぶりにイングリッシュカフェも再開することができました。また、今年は海外から３つの宣教チームが来てくださる予定です。私たちの宣教の働きが、主の導きと恵みの中で今後ますます拡大されていくようにお祈りください。

日々、私たちは様々な忙しさに追われがちです。しかし、私たちは、まず神の国と神の義を求めていきましょう。父なる神が約束された聖霊の満たしを求めていきましょう。一人ひとりが心に火を灯され、主のために仕えていきましょう。天から来る聖霊の満たしを受け、聖霊の力を受け取り、そしてともに大宣教命令を果たしていきましょう。「しかし、聖霊があなたがたの上に臨むとき、あなたがたは力を受けます。そして、エルサレム、ユダヤとサマリアの全土、さらに地の果てまで、わたしの証人となります。」 （使徒の働き１章８節）

BridgeCity Church celebrated its 8th anniversary last month in April. We are deeply grateful for your support. Currently, our church is home to people of various nationalities and cultural backgrounds, not just Japanese. We have many children, and the church is full of life. This year, we have already seen many new encounters and connections both inside and outside the church. Please pray that our missionary work in the Lord will continue to expand. We give thanks to the Lord God who has called us to be one body in Christ.

Day after day, we often find ourselves caught up in various forms of busyness. But let us first seek God’s kingdom and His righteousness. Let us pray for the filling of the Holy Spirit, as promised by our Father. Each of us should be ignited with a fire to serve the Lord. Let us receive the filling of the Holy Spirit from heaven, receive the power of the Holy Spirit, and together fulfill the “Great Commission”. “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” (Acts 1:8)
