本谷康人 Yasuhito Hontani
栃木県出身。１７歳の頃、神様の力強い臨在を体験し、イエス・キリストを救い主として信じる。 ２００６年に、オレゴン州にあるポートランドバイブルカレッジにて教会音楽科学士課程を修了する。２００７年から、ポートランドバイブルカレッジのスタッフ兼教授として働き始める。同時にシティーバイブルチャーチのミュージシャン育成牧師として任命される。礼拝者とソングライターのコミュニティーであるBridgeCityの創設メンバーの一人。彼はまた、ギター講師、レコーディングアーティスト、プロデューサー、そして本の著者でもあります。
Yas was born in a small town called Takanezawa, Tochigi prefecture Japan. At the age of 17, he en- countered an undeniable presence of God and ac- cepted Jesus Christ as his Savior and Lord. In 2006, he finished his study at Portland Bible College in Oregon and received his degree in Bachelor of Church Music. In 2007, he started his career as a staff/faculty member at Portland Bible College. He has been functioning as a musician development pastor of City Bible Church. He is one of the foun- ders of BridgeCity, a community of worshippers and songwriters. He is also a guitar lesson instructor, a recording artist, a producer, and a book author.
本谷愛 Ai Hontani
岐阜にて牧師の家庭で育つ。幼い頃から教会開拓者の娘として、日本での教会開拓を経験する。スイスのYWAMにてYouth With A Missionプログラム修了、Christ For The Nations Instituteにて実践神学準学士課程修了、ポートランドバイブルカレッジにて、教会音楽科準学士課程、神学科学士課程修了。彼女は素晴らしい妻であり、母親です。彼女は人を気遣い、人に仕える女性です。
Ai was born in a pastor’s home in Gifu, Japan. She experienced church planting in Japan from an early age as a child of church planters. She has served her church until she left her home to study abroad. She completed YWAM’s Youth With A Mission’s pro- gram in Switzerland and a degree in Associate of Practical Theology from Christ For The Nations Insti- tute. From Portland Bible College, she received de- grees in Associate of Church Music and a Bachelor of Theology. Ai is an amazing wife and mother. She loves to care for and serve those who God brings into her life.
彼らは、オレゴン州ポートランドにあるシティーバイブルチャーチ（現マナハウスチャーチ）で、十年以上積極的に教会に関わってきました。２００６年から十年間、シティーバイブルチャーチの日本人ミニストリーを牽引し、ポートランドにいる多くの日本人に仕えてきました。彼らの想い、そしてビジョンは、日本の人々が神の恵みを体験し、神の御名の下に集まり、キリストのために共に立ち上がる、力強い教会を立ち上げることです。 彼らには二人の息子がいます。
